It's been awhile, hasn't it?

Yesterday, on the way home from drumline (and part of the way to), Kat and I talked about a lot of stuff. Well, on the way there was one subject mostly. But on the way back I got something off of my back that has been bothering me. It felt good. Thanks Kat!

The thing that I got off my back I don't feel like talking about. But, the other thing... I do: why do people take up so much crap and then blame other people for lack of time? If you choose to do something, then it's your problem wether or not you have time to do other stuff (including free time). Take for example Kristen.

She has a job, school, and drumline. She may have other stuff, but not that I'm aware of. Now then, she has to do school, but the other two are more of an option. She didn't have to do drumline. No one made her. Yes, T.J.'s parents pulled him; no, Kristen didn't have to take his place. It was nice of her too, though. Her job, was her choice. She could learn to live on a minimal income by doing chores (which is what I do), and that would free up a good deal of time. On Monday, she was complaining about not having enough time to work on the drumline show. HELLO?! You have more time than you realize.

You just spend it all with him. Don't try and deny it, because you do. If you aren't doing school, work, or drumline, he is involved in some way. I'm sure there are times when he isn't; but the vast majority of times he is. So don't fucking complain.

Kristen, you're awesome. But sometimes you just get on my nerves with the whole "time" issue. For real.

Also, she isn't the only one. She's just the best example I have as of now.

Egad! I just figured out how much Iron pipe I would need for my physics project, and then figured the aprox. costs... it came to be about $70. And I still have to get a hose, iron plating, torch, gas, keys (might be made of wood), wire, starters, and weights. Egad. I need to see if I can get donations from anywhere or anyone. My brother said he will buy the torch if he can have it when I'm done, so that's about $30 off of the total cost. But sheesh, it will still be over $100 total. But hell, it's worth it.

Okay, kick ass show today. We placed fifth of sixth, but if we had played the opener (which would sucked) then we would've gotten 2nd or 3rd (points off and limited to box 3 because whole show isn't on the floor, damn rules). Anyway, at critique, Keegan said that one of the big boy judges said "You guys are going to WGI Finals in Dayton, right?" He really thought we were good enough to compete there! AH! That boosted my day. And all of the judges love our show and want to see it all, because are score can't go above box 3 of 6 until we get it all on. Kick ass.

God I'm under so much stress right now! I have drumline, a project in physics that will take a lot of time (not too mention it's dangerous: if I screw up on the valves it could turn into a bomb. Let's just hope I don't.), the rest of school, AND I fucked up a clients database and lost ~200-300 haikus. Which just isn't cool. So, I've spent the past 3 nights fixing the database, planning my physics, and working harder in school. And drumline tomorrow is from 4-8:30! Ack!

God damn I'm an idiot! I just reinstalled Fedora Core 3 on my computer, and I completely forgot to backup all of my mysql data! Which means that one of my clients has no table, and thus I have to rewrite all the tables and he has to reinsert all of his data! FUCK! Someone kick me.

It's been awhile since my last update... why? Busy and our ISP has been fuggly whenever I had time... so, I now bring you an update! Of sorts?

Nothing's really happened. JUst been drumming, chillin' with people, and school. Speaking of school, I got a 100 on my last US quiz today! w00t. bleh.

Caroline's hair is awesome.

Hopefully I'll be hanging with Tate and Risko tonight. But I have to either get a ride or my dad has to let me drive his truck (unlikely). That would be fun, though. I've been cooped up too long.

Tomorrow is the first drumline competition. We're only doing the closer, which is about 1.5 minutes. But it will be good. I like it, even if I almost die about 193059235092385092358 times. For real.

Wendy's was fun tonight. Sam laughed and chili exploded out of his mouth. Kristen's funny story from championships:

That's basically it. But Kristen yelled it out in Wendy's. Good times. Laughing for a long while ensued.

Us three juniors (being Kristen, Kat, and I) missed some of drumline for a meeting (the Junior Class Meeting). Oh darn. The part we were there for was good. I gotta learn that new visual, it's weird.

Gotta study for the US test tomorrow (make-up from last Friday). Bleh.

AGH! And the LA Notebook is due! Gotta f'in finish that! BLEH!

But then its the weekend.

It's been a few days since I've updated. So I will now :)

School has been bleh. I may not get to go on the band trip >phpAlmanac</a>. PEAR::HTML_Templates_IT is giving me hell, though. But I may not need it. It's just for an example of PEAR::LiveUser.

Grace and I are talking again. Good times. Nick agrees: she's a hot one.

According to Kenneth, Sam, and Chris I smell good. And Anna. Anyone else want to admit to my smelly goodness?

Kassie has really nice hair. For real. (So does Anna :)).

Sarah is moving down the road next weekend. Rock on.

Vermillion is good (both parts). Slipknot improved. Risko agrees.

Everything with Hailey should be cleared up now. What she told Cassie was just a joke, apparently. It getting to me was never planned, and it started a bunch of shit. Her and I won't get togethor. Which I guess I'm fine with now, because I understand what happened. She's still a cool girl, though. I hope she's happy with whoever she ends up with (be it Mike or the other guy). This is the last I will mention of it, because I'm tired of the shit it started.

Off that subject, I missed school today because I wasn't feeling good. Now I get to make up two tests, a quiz, and do my band performance. Awesome. But I got 17 hours of sleep so I'm feeling better. Tomorrow is drumline from 9 - 5 (I think)... gotta get a lot of sleep before that.

Last night was Battle of the Bands. We rocked, but lost. Oh well. Mrs. Nehez is going to make some DVDs, rock.

Yeah, I'm in school and have updated in a few days... so maybe I should. Quick recap:

Arena Friday. Drumline fundraiser Saturday (kicked butt, but it was cold). Homecoming Saturday night ('twas good times, until Mary got ::bleh:: at the end). Jammin' Sunday with Tate, got high. 'Twas good. Monday was the Arena = Shitty. Monday afternoon broke a snare drum head. And now I'm in physics. We have no classroom right now (damn construction).

I have Drumline tonight. And I have to write a Rags to Riches story. Shouldn't be hard. Mmm...

This Saturday between 12pm and 2pm, the CGHS Drumline is holding a fundraiser at Wal-Mart off of Hurricane Shoals Road and Collin's Hill Road. We will be playing off and on for those two hours in front of the store and are accepting donations which will go towards our floor and props. Whatever donations we recieve, Wal-Mart will match. So please come out and support the drumline! I will love you forever. Even a quarter is good! If anything, just come say "hey".

And then... next Thursday (the 20th) is the CGHS Track Team's Annual Battle of the Bands. It starts at 7pm and costs $5 to get in. My band is playing first and we would like to beat Cameo Nova this year (1st place last year went to them). The placing is based on the crowds yells during the Awards. So come out and support us! I'll love you even more for that. We are playing Purple Haze (Jimi Hendrix) and as far as I know All Along the Watchtower (Jimi Hendrix).

Yes, I'm actually happy. Saturday night I went to Liz's with Mary to watch a movie (Event Horizon). Anyway, after the movie Mary told me something very cool. Very cool indeed. She told me something about a girl I met at Cassie's house a few weeks ago. Her name is Hailey. Anyway, she had run away and was living with Cassie for a few days because her parents are truely psycho (she gets beaten by her bi-polar schitzo parents), but she had to leave that night to go back home or Cassie's parents would get sued by Hailey's.

We sat around for a bit, stalling (she really didn't want to go). When I first saw her I was almost in shock. She is quite the looker. She's got the whole "neo-punk" look that's so popular today, but she looks hot in it. Anyway, we started talking and stalling and I got to know her. She's really open about a lot of stuff. Practically everything. She's really cool (for the maybe 2 hours I got to talk with her). Then it was time for her to go, so I volunteered to take her to the "dropoff zone" (couldn't be her house, psycho I say). Anyway, on the way to the gas station I had Slipknot in the CD player and she commented on how she could play it on drums. A drum player! That's a lot more browny points from me. Sadly, she had to go. However, when her birthday comes she is getting kicked out legaly and moving in with Cassie again.

On Saturday, Mary told me that Cassie had asked her "how fast I was getting into to things" (that's not exactly what she said, but basically it). Mary and I both had the same reaction: "WHAT?! Umm... o.O". That's just not Cassie. Then Cassie told Mary that Hayley wanted to know because, if I heard correctly, she wants to have some fun with me. I'm all for it :D.

Anyway, that was... yeah. I'm done. Bai!

This is going to be a shitty entry. I can feel it.

I still can't forget what she did to me that day. I won't. I know I should, it was so long ago that it does not matter any more. But I just can't. It's something that I think about all to often, how I could have changed things. Or could have tried, at least. But it was too late. Two months that were, in my humble opinion, not used as wisely as could have been. The few times I saw her, and the few times after it ended, I never forget. She's... amazing. But she's not the one for me, apparently. I can do nothing to change that, only wish. Wish for something I can never have. And never will have. I had it once, and I lost it. That's all there is to it. What a wonderful time I had with her, that probably was not returned as I'd hoped. Not enough seeing, not enough talking, too young.

2 years and 13 days ago, I lost what I never wanted to lose. What I never deserved in the first place.

If you know what I'm talking about, go you. If not, it's because you don't need to know.

Wow! I thought I was running 1280x1024, but its really 1400x1050. Cool! I like it more (tried 1280 to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks), so its staying. The monitor should hold up fine :)

Made some modifications to the layout. Nothing really. Just took out the image (since it's deleted anyway), changed some font sizes and colors, and made the table wider. Good times.
